New Years Resolutions - Tips to Quit Smoking

Here is what I have done. I sat down and wrote my smoking routine. Below is the actual routine that I am addicted to.

I smoked a cigarette in the morning when I woke up. I smoked one in the car on my way to work. I smoked two to my breakfast, for lunch a couple, and two more on my afternoon break, another car on the ride home, and then three to five before I started in the night.

If you have the math, I was smoking a little more than half a pack a day. Now some people are trying to quit cold Turkey. I would have tried that before, but it did not work for me. Gradually, the smoke was not the solution that worked for me.

Once I had a list of my routine, I realize smoking thought about whether I really wanted to smoke or if they only "time" for me to smoke. By consciously think about my habits, I was able for the first decline in the amount of cigarettes that I smoked and then eliminate smoking all together.

After I made my list, I evaluated and decided to cut the smoking on my hard drive and from work.
